Welcome to Erase Cat (erasecat.com, the "Service"). Please read these Terms before using any feature. By uploading a file, using any tool, or clicking to agree, you accept these Terms in full.

1. What we provide

Erase Cat offers AI-based image processing tools — including object, people and text removal, watermark removal, photo repair, background cutout and image enhancement. We provide processing tools only. We claim no rights over what you upload or produce, and we are not responsible for how you use the results.

2. Your responsibilities

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  1. You hold the lawful rights (copyright, likeness rights, or proper authorization) to every file you upload or process;
  2. You will not use the Service to remove watermarks, logos, or rights marks belonging to others;
  3. You will not use the Service to remove labels on AI-generated or synthetic content (see Section 3);
  4. Your processing and use of the results does not violate any applicable law or platform rule.

Any dispute, claim, or liability arising from a breach of the above is yours alone and unrelated to Erase Cat. You agree to indemnify us for losses we incur as a result.

3. AI-generated content labels (important)

Labels and markers identifying AI-generated or synthetic content must not be removed, altered, forged, or concealed. Using any feature of the Service for that purpose is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful; you bear sole responsibility.

4. Intellectual property

The Erase Cat brand, interface, code, copy, and original assets are our property. Rights to your processed results depend on the rights status of your source material; we claim none.

5. Availability & disclaimer

  1. The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee results meet your expectations, nor uninterrupted, error-free operation.
  2. Short-video parsing depends on third-party platforms and may break as their policies change; no availability is promised.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss from using or being unable to use the Service.

6. Data & privacy

Our AI tools run locally in your browser, so your images are never uploaded to our servers and there is nothing for us to retain or train on. If we ever add a feature that requires uploads, those files would be auto-deleted within 24 hours of processing and never used to train models. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post changes on this page. Continued use means acceptance.
